Summary

Healthcare services are less available in deprived areas, but such areas have good availability of community pharmacies which provide NHS services and are easy to access. Given this there is an opportunity for community pharmacy staff to help with these issues.

This would be a new role for the community pharmacy and so we need to understand better what this role would look like and what additional training may be required for it.
