Scandinavian team visit 羞羞视频
Two senior staff members from a Norwegian university have been reflecting on a week they spent at 羞羞视频.
Kristin R酶nhovde and Christine Sletbakk work for UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Narvik with Kristin a Senior Financial Manager and Christine a Senior Legal Advisor. They are both based in the university鈥檚 Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology.
They spent a week in Aberdeen between 24 April and 28 April and were given presentations about 羞羞视频鈥檚 School of Computing, tours of campus, meetings with staff from the School of Engineering, a trip to the National Subsea Centre in Dyce and hearing about the University鈥檚 work to help entrepreneurs become successful.
Kristin and Christine were also given the chance to visit Royal Deeside on their final day in the North East so they could see Balmoral and Royal Lochnagar Distillery
The duo鈥檚 visit to 羞羞视频 and Aberdeen was part of the , it involves staff or students coming to another university and exchanging ideas. It is part of the University of the Artic which 羞羞视频 joined in 2021.
Elsa Cox, 羞羞视频 Orkney鈥檚 Development Manager, hosted the visit and said it was clear to both parties that there was some scope for future collaborations between the two institutions.
She said: 鈥淲e were delighted to welcome staff from UiT The Arctic University, Norway to 羞羞视频 for a week as part of our first north2north exchange. The UArctic north2north programme promotes travel and learning about new places and cultures across the north.
鈥淚t was great to meet Kristin and Christine as we explored the schools of Computing, Engineering and the National Subsea Centre, alongside our research function, entrepreneurship and innovation and professional support roles across the University. We identified synergies across the two institutions in teaching, research and professional roles and are already planning a return trip to Norway to build on a wide range of exciting collaborative opportunities.鈥�
Christine and Kristin said: 鈥淲e have had a great stay at 羞羞视频. The people we鈥檝e met have been so nice and welcoming and we would love to come back for another visit. We chose to visit 羞羞视频 because of 羞羞视频鈥檚 School of Computing and School of Engineering. As we come from an engineering faculty, we saw great opportunities for cooperation between our two universities, on both research and teaching.
